Peparing for assembly.

Lately, Grace H, Grace F and I have been practising a litte something for our upcoming assembly in September. Call your Girlfriend originally by Robyn , but performed by Lennon and Maisy is the song we will be singing and doing the beat to, using small containers. It has taken a small amount of time o learn , and match the beat to the singing , but we're getting there. We've memorized the words, and the beat, so now all we have to do is practise practise practise. Practise makes perfect ! Wish us luck for our next assembly ;)

You're riding a bicycle. Moving through life. If someone is trying to push you off the bike, keep moving. Keep your balance, and move on. Don't get stuck in a traffic jam of drama.

What i think it means:


You're unique , there's only one of you, be yourself, and don't try copy other people. You should be proud of who you are, and not want to be anyone else. Don't try compare yourself to anyone, you are beautiful. You think you're ugly ? Tell me, what is the meaning of beauty ? Why can't we all nust be differnet, uniquness isn't bad .

What i think it means :


Humans , we need dreams.. need hopes, and we need wishes. Without these , there is no excitment or point of life. We need these things, so we can set a dream a goal or a wish in life, and go for it .
“I had a dream, and i went for it.” these exact words were said by Reece Mastin , he had a dream to be a singer, he showed up on xfactor and gave it his all, in the end he turned out winning the competition , and becoming famous. Whether you want to be an artist, builder, doctor, dentist or a zoo keeper ! It's always possible , just go for it, give it all it takes, and don't give up .

IALT use well chosen verbs

I crouch low to the ground. Slowly I begin to crawl. My eyes set directly on the zebra. Without a blink I step closer and closer. I shuffle through the bushes quietly. I stare in hunger as my tummy growls. I dig my claws into the dirt. I bend my legs and leap!

Room 14 K.O .

                                                    ROOM 14 K.O TOURNAMENT !

    

On Thursday 26 of April, Room 14 played against room 16 in our first round of K.O . We played well in our "A" scoring a winning time of around 4 minutes, aswell as our "B" team, also winning. Because we won both games, we didn't have to go into our "C" team . Everyone played their best, and we had a good time, we also scored a spot in quarter finals, followed by cemi's after another victory against room 8, but unfortunely we got knocked out in the cemi's against room 17 , our enemy's from last years K.O tournament . We were all dissapointed, but we had fun and tryed our best.

What i think it means :

I think this quote means , Any accidents from yesterday you must learn from, and not do again. Live for today, and don't think about anything wrong you've done the previous day,  or your big test you have tomorrow. And hope for tomorrow, hope that you will wake up in the morning, and do well. Hope for sunshine and hope you'll have do well in your big test, and just have a healthy day .
